Systembolaget AB goes for CashGuard
PSI Antonson AB, a subsidiary of PSI Group ASA, has entered into a frame agreement with Systembolaget AB regarding delivery and service of CashGuard for closed and secured cash handling solutions for their stores in Sweden.
Orders for the first five stores have been installed - totaling 23 systems. Confirmed order for installations during the first quarter 2011 totals 86 systems. Further rollouts for this year and for the coming years, will be planned and decided continuously.
Systembolaget, Swedish Alcohol Retail Monopoly, exists for one reason: To minimize alcohol-related harm by selling alcohol in a responsible way, without a profit motive. Systembolaget operates 416 stores in Sweden.
“One of our important objectives is to run our stores as effective as possible combined with good working environment and employee safety. Closed cash handling solutions from the market leader is definitely one key issue in this regard” says Anders Söderlund, IT manager of Systembolaget.
“Retailers requirements with regards to CashGuard’s product quality, checkout speed, cash capacity and operational stability - together with PSI Antonson’s reputation and ability to meet Retailers demanding service requirements, were again key issues for us in order to reach such an agreement,” says Jørgen Waaler, CEO of PSI Group ASA.
