CashGuard was formed by entrepreneur Leif Nordqvist.
1993
Premier viewing of first product prototypes for the cash handling system at checkouts.
1994
Initial pilot installations of the cash handling system in supermarkets implemented.
2000
CashGuard shares are listed on Stockholmsbörsen’s O List and 1000 systems are installed in Sweden. Subsidiary established in Germany.
2001
Subsidiary established in France.
2002
A new product generation of cash handling systems in checkouts for the euro currency was launched. CashGuard signs agreements with customers outside the Nordic region.
2003
CashGuard broadens its customer base and enters into agreements with distributors in several other countries.
2004
CashGuard acquires security company SQS Security Qube System, expanding its product portfolio.
2007
CashGuard's ten-thousandth cash handling system installed.
2008
CashGuard becomes a PSI Group company.
2010
CashGuard is present in over 20 countries, having installed over 16000 systems, making it the european market leader.
